Cinnamon Kouign Amann ("queen a-mahn")

A cross between a croissant and cinnamon roll. Originating in Brittany, this indulgent pastry is named after the Brenton words for "cake" and "butter". The name says it all - a crisp, buttery, flaky, caramelized pastry filled with cinnamon and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
